Creased rear quarter panelA deep crease folded across the rear quarter and over the wheel arch. Pulled straight, refinished and blended into the panels either side. Both frames were shot on our own forecourt from the same spot.

Every job done in houseA customer car on the floor with our welder alongside it. Bodywork, welding, paint and refinishing all happen at Civic Center Plaza rather than being sublet to somebody else.

What you are looking at

Most of this is repaired, not replaced

The quarter panel and the dented door above are the panels those cars were built with. They were pulled, worked and refinished rather than cut off and swapped for new ones.

That is not only about the bill. An original panel keeps the factory seam sealer and corrosion protection that a replacement has to have applied by hand, and it keeps the car off the list of vehicles with replaced structural parts.

The color has to disappear

Matching paint straight out of a tin almost never works. Two cars off the same line — one parked in Scottsdale sun for six years, one garaged — are no longer the same color.

So the color is mixed to the panel rather than to the paint code, sprayed, and then blended out into the neighboring panels so there is no edge for your eye to catch. If you can find where the repair stops, it was not finished.

Why there are only a few photographs here

Because these are the ones we can stand behind. Cars go out of the door faster than anybody remembers to photograph them, and a gallery padded out with somebody else’s repairs would tell you nothing about this shop.

Every job now gets photographed on the way in and on the way out, so this page will grow. If you would rather see the work in person, we are open and you are welcome to look at whatever is on the floor.
