Clear urethane film over the panels that take the worst of the road, applied in house.

Paint protection film is a thick, self-healing urethane layer. Its job is stone chips, road rash, bug etching and the fine scratches that come from washing — the damage that accumulates on a front end at highway speed and can never really be polished out afterwards.
It is not a ceramic coating and it is not a wax. Those change how the surface behaves. Film puts a physical barrier between the road and your paint.
Full-car coverage is available and most people do not need it. The panels that earn their keep are the front bumper, the leading edge of the hood, the side mirrors and the rocker panels — that is where the stone damage lands.
A partial front is a fraction of the cost of full coverage and prevents most of the damage that would otherwise need refinishing later.
Film is only as good as its edges. Wrapped edges rather than cut lines, clean corners, and no lifting where a panel curves — that is the difference between film you cannot see and film that collects a dark line of dirt along every border within a year.
The paint has to be genuinely clean before it goes on, too. Anything trapped underneath is there permanently.
Worth doing on a new car before the first stone finds it. Bring it in and we will talk through partial versus full coverage.
