Curb rash, gouges and corroded finishes on aluminum and alloy wheels, restored here rather than sent out.

A scraped wheel is the damage people live with longest, partly because a replacement alloy is expensive enough to feel disproportionate to a cosmetic problem.
Most of it is repairable. The damaged area is machined or sanded back, filled where the gouge has taken material out, reprofiled to the original edge, then refinished to match the rest of the wheel. On a painted or machined-face wheel the repair is invisible once it is done.
Wheels come in silver paint, gloss black, satin, gunmetal, machined face with a clear coat, chrome and polished aluminum — and each behaves differently. A machined face has fine concentric turning marks that have to be recreated or the repair reads as a smooth patch on a textured surface.
That is the difference between a wheel repair you cannot find and one you can spot from ten feet away.
Cosmetic damage is repairable. Structural damage is not, and we will not pretend otherwise. A wheel that is cracked, buckled, or bent at the barrel is a safety component that has been compromised, and refinishing it hides the problem rather than fixing it.
If we find a crack we will tell you to replace it. That is the honest answer even though it is the one that earns us less.
Bring the car in and we will look at all four wheels, not just the one you noticed.
